Mustafa Aşkım AKALA

Mustafa Aşkım Akata graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Economics.

He began his professional career in the Investment and Incentives Department at Adana Çimento and subsequently worked as an Assistant Manager in the Commercial and Corporate Banking Sales departments at Interbank and Ziraat Bank, respectively. Between 2005 and 2015, he held various management positions at Akbank, including Corporate Branch Manager, Commercial Branch Manager, and Regional Manager. During this period, he led numerous projects in investment and working capital financing, foreign trade finance, collection, and payment systems. He continued his career at A101 as Regional General Manager, where he was responsible for overseeing 300 stores and developing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and performance. Most recently, Mr. Akata served as CEO of Eve Mağazacılık from 2017 to 2025. During his tenure, he led strategies and initiatives aimed at driving innovation, profitability, and market share growth across the organization. He also led the development of the company’s private-label brands, the acquisition of exclusive brands, and the launch of loyalty card, CRM, and digital transformation projects reaching more than 6 million customers.
